Program Notes:
The composition is inspired by Zen philosophy, traditional music for shakuhachi (Honkyoku) and the music of Somei Satoh. It is influenced by the concept of music as a tool of meditation (like the music for solo shakuhachi), and as such, it attempts to bring the listeners to the "here and now", to a tranquil yet emotional state of solitary contemplation.
